The Rehearsal Dinner!

Traditionally hosted and paid for by the parents of the groom, the rehearsal dinner kicks of the wedding weekend. It is one of the many activities that will set the tone for the wedding.

The bridal party is in attendance as well as immediate family. It is up to you to open the invitation to your other guests. In the instance where it is a destination wedding, you would consider inviting everyone.

The rehearsal dinner can also serve as the opportunity for anyone who would like to say a speech or give a toast to the lovely couple. Perfect if you are only allowing just a few people at the wedding reception to toast or give a speech.

Your venue may allow you to host your rehearsal dinner there is if it a location where there is already in house catering such as that at an all-inclusive hotel or resort. If not, a restaurant or even a home is the perfect location.

You can make it a formal occasion or a relaxed atmosphere. Either way, it is a great way to bring everyone together to start the celebration.
